The Microsoft Surface Book 2, designed for creative professionals, needed a very specialist target group. Microsoft wanted us to source Engineers and Architects between the ages of 25 and 49, to put the latest model from their surface range through its paces. Fortunately, we have quite the fraternité of French reviewers, and when Microsoft called upon our expertise, we had 369 potential reviewers sign up to test the Surface Book 2. Whittling that feverous response down to a slither of its size was the first challenge. We only needed 5 reviewers, and due to the high expense of the product, we had to be certain the samples ended up in the perfect hands. Eventually, we found them. The ultimate reviewers. Microsoft wanted 16 reviews, and we delivered 20 – all of them with 4 or 5 star ratings across 4 retailers, including Amazon. These reviews spoke the language of ordinary French consumers, but with a techy twist.
