Harnessing the power of social media
Get yourself some hashtag help
There are so many platforms to showcase your product on, so why limit yourself? From YouTube to Instagram, Facebook to Twitter, our reviewers can make your products trend like wildfire…
EPSON had created something wonderful – a cartridge-free printer – and they wanted the whole world to know about it. Their EcoTank series described in 3 words? Stylish, simple and affordable. They wanted busy families, hobby enthusiasts and tech savvy reviewers to test one out. But above all else, the reviewers that Stars and Stories selected had to have social media accounts.
User-generated content is more authentic than content produced by your marketing team. Truth. Seeing the product in action, in the ordinary setting of a family living room (for example), is far more relatable for your potential customers than glossy lifestyle images, carefully pieced together in a professional studio.
That’s why we were so thrilled with the overwhelming enthusiasm from our reviewers; they posted shots on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag: #printenzondercartridges.
Bear in mind, that these social media posts never replace the reviews themselves. Think of them as bonuses! See for yourself how reviewers can tell different stories with different mediums:
Irina from Florida, reviewed the $3,000 PRIMA DONNA Coffee machine from De’Longhi with us. Below is her 5 star review and one of the 6 images she posted on the US Williams Sonoma site. In contrast, here is a YouTube video she created in addition to her review.

I think I don’t have enough words to express how much I love this machine! It’s makes my life so much easier in the morning, making a nice cup of latte is almost as easy as a click of a button. The whole process is very fast, clean and I enjoy it too. No more grinding coffee beans, changing coffee machine filters or changing coffee cups( which are bad for the environment because they are not recyclable). The reason I chose this particular model is because it has this nice LatteCrema frother. I put milk or half and half into it and then with a click of a button it makes me a cup of latte. I also make hot chocolate in the evening using this LatteCrema System, I put a teaspoon of raw organic cocoa powder, a teaspoon of organic brown sugar and then I press LatteCrema button and Voila! I have my delicious hot chocolate. After I use the milk frother container, I turn on the Rinse setting and then store the container in the fridge. I also like to use raw coconut sap syrup or panela (cane juice rocks) instead of regular sugar in my latte, it gives it a more unique flavor, delicately sweet, slightly citric and with hints of caramel. Overall, our whole family is very happy with the purchase and we would recommend it to others. I would also recommend to purchase a good protection plan, so you don’t need to worry if something goes wrong, and read the instructions well before you start using it, like with any other electronics.
